Computer Delivery

Computer Education

Area BellSouth employees within Corporate and External Affairs, Network, and Operator Services gathered surplused computers as company systems were updated.  Presentations included Pioneers, Partners, and BellSouth employees to the schools and community locations.  ExplorNet, a non-profit organization in Raleigh, helped distribute computers to the Highland School of Technology.

The Pioneers donated $200 to the Hornets Nest Girl Scouts Council for material needed to make 20 lap blankets, a blanket that is used to cover your legs and can be folded into a pocket pouch sewn onto the blanket.  The Troop refers to these blankets as "Quillows"  and they will present them to nursing home patients during projects planned around Valentines Day 2002.
